Lakeside Getaway

It's not often you get to stay in a place that offers beautiful views plus an activity right at your doorstep, Corduroy offered just that! Waking up to the natural warm sunshine pouring in through the windows was such a beautiful way to start our day, and being able to walk right outside to the lake to absorb all the beautiful scenery was the cherry on top.

During our stay, we went for a short 10 minute walk down to the local town to enjoy seafood from Swordfish Co and sit by the water; they also offer a really great vegan/vegetarian alternative if you do not eat fish.

After our stroll, we decided to spend the late afternoon kayaking, it was a great way to see the neighbourhood and surrounding, and a way to disconnect and just enjoy the peaceful evening air.

It was a really wonderful place to unwind, slow down, and connect with each other and nature.

Not too far from Frazer Beach, there is a beautiful Sea Cave lookout off of Snapper Point Road - The drive is really pretty, and on a beautiful sunny day the water glistens and you can see fully into the cave even from afar.
