A Taste of Ranch Life
Adventure in Tynong North, Gippsland, VIC, AU
The Harvest Log Cabin is a beautifully unique farm stay set across 55 acres of picturesque farmland. With its charming ranch-style feel, thoughtfully decorated interiors and distinctly American-inspired touches, the cabin offers a truly memorable country escape with plenty to see and do.
We loved exploring the expansive property and getting to meet and feed the animals, from the horses and sheep to the adorable baby cows! Jeff the sheep was a particular highlight - he loved following us around the property and keeping an eye on everything we were up to!
Another highlight was the complimentary breakfast, complete with bacon, fresh farm eggs, tomatoes and orange juice. In the evenings, we loved roasting marshmallows and enjoying hot chocolates around the large fire pit, taking in the peaceful surroundings and enjoying some quality time together by the fire.
The property itself is incredibly picturesque, and we made the most of the beautiful Hay Shed - a gorgeous space to gather around the copper fireplace and enjoy a platter, with the farm animals grazing right next door.
When we weren’t enjoying the property, we ventured out to nearby Cannibal Creek Vineyard for some wining and dining, followed by lavender scones at Lady Lavender’s Tea Room on the way back home.
By the end of our stay, Harvest Log Cabin became a truly special and memorable getaway. It is perfect for a group of friends looking to escape to the country, spend time with animals and reconnect with nature.
