We arrived to a warmly lit house on a cloudy, dark spring afternoon. The house, whilst roomy, gives cosy vibes and provides a quiet space to unwind. We cooked dinner in the spacious kitchen and enjoyed the comfortable living space.
We slept soundly in a king bed, waking early to catch the sunrise at Flinders before heading over to Cape Schanck for a stroll along the boardwalk to Black Rock Beach. Low tide had us exploring rock pools and watching wild waves crash over the ragged landscape.
Sunlight filtered through the many windows of the house, highlighting the modern boho styling and colour drenched rooms. The porch gives a wonderful space to enjoy a coffee and listen to the sounds of local wildlife. The cocktail bar is a thoughtful touch for anyone booking to celebrate or travel with friends.
We felt happy and relaxed at the Black House, it was a tranquil sanctuary to come back to after our salty adventures.
