Arriving at 3 Piers, I knew I’d found somewhere a little different. Tucked away in Sunset Strip, this quirky, dog-friendly shipping-container is surrounded by native gardens, colourful artwork and eclectic details around every corner.
Mornings were spent walking into Smiths Beach with Samson for a coffee at Smiths Street General Store, where I soon felt like a local, followed by a stroll along the beach and watching the surfers. Back at 3 Piers, Samson loved exploring the garden and sunbathing on the deck while I slowed down and took in the peaceful surroundings.
I ventured out to Pyramid Rock, where we spotted so many rock wallabies along the drive in, making the journey memorable.
Evenings were spent by the outdoor fire, surrounded by the warmth and character of 3 Piers.
I left feeling relaxed and creatively inspired, with my spark reignited after a weekend surrounded by colour, art and nature.
A beautiful coastal lookout with sweeping ocean views and the chance to spot whales along the coastline. Unfortunately no whales spotted during my visit!
