The Coast & Countryside Calm
Adventure in Tilba Tilba, South Coast, NSW, AU
Catching up with friends from other states can be pretty difficult, there's always logistics on where to meet, how to get there, and what to do. Luckily for us, Mountain View Farm was the perfect place to spend a few days.
It's situated in an amazing spot, on the South Coast, just a stone's throw from Kosciuszko National Park (which we rode through!) whilst also being near some of New South Wales's greatest beaches. What a combination of countryside and coast!
As we arrived at the property just before sunset, we were greeted by 4 adorable puppies and the most magnificent view.
The following morning, we went to the weekly market held just 5 minutes away in Tilba Tilba and sampled local produce. We dropped by the pub for a cheeky midday pint and then headed to a beach recommended by one of the many friendly locals.
The beach recommended was one of my favourites I've ever been to. Along the edges of the rock cliffs were shallow caves that offered a respite from the sun but also showcased some unbelievable natural beauty.
Back at the farm, the beauty didn't cease, as we witnessed a beautiful sunset with a couple of beers and watched as the sky filled with thousands of stars.

The Snowy Mountains Road is an unbelievable road to drive or ride on, and it's surrounded by beautiful mountains, twisty corners and picturesque views. We saw wild brumbies in the distance and even an echidna waddling across the road!
There's a beautiful walking track around the property, and you can stop to buy some succulents that have been potted by Kathryn's daughter or say hello to the ducks, dogs and chickens!
What a gem! Run by a French couple, this cafe serves galettes and crepes for breakfast and lunch. Not only is it charming, but it's also SO delicious.
Tilba Growers Market happen every Saturday morning and have a great collection of local vendors and products (and cute pups!)
A jaw-dropping beach lined with cliffs and caves
Recommended to us by some locals, we rode down to the Blue Pool in Bermagui. Not only was the pool stunning, but there were also seals swimming just off shore!
