Red Hill Thrill

The Red Hill Barn was expansive and cosy, modern and homely, all at once. This beautifully converted barn was a breath of fresh air to walk into during such a busy time of the year, with its magnificent cathedral ceiling, natural timber floorboards, super modern finishes and raw wooden features, you could tell it was a labour of love.

We were optimistic that the weather was going to be sunny and warm, but the sun was struggling to make an appearance, and so was the surf. Luckily, being in Red Hill meant we were spoilt for alternatives to keep us more than entertained (and well-fed).

We spent our weekend eating and drinking our way through Red Hill, only tearing ourselves away from the culinary trail to immerse ourselves in the dreamy Peninsula Hot Springs on Saturday afternoon. We then saw out our Saturday with a ripper sunset on the cliffs of Flinders, adding to the list of favourite places in Victoria. This weekend escape was an absolute dream.

Besides being easy on the eyes, this café was stacked with awesome baked goods and local produce. Coffees were amazing, staff were friendly and the apple and walnut slice was a beauty!...
