Sidney's retreat is a classic Blue Mountains setup, comfortable and accomodating with the necessary fireplace to warm the cool mountain air.
Nestled in the heart of Katoomba, just parallel to the main street, you're spoilt for choice when it comes to adventures and meals!
Waking up, making a coffee, and looking out through the ceiling tall walls out over the quiet side of Katoomba is a prime way to start a day full of exploring.
The gingerbread house and the yellow deli are just a few awesome spots to grab a bite before heading off to the Wentworth Falls walk, which you can take all the way down to the feet of the falls.
Make good use of the verandah and settle in with your post-hike lunch and let the clouds drift by, soaking in every second of that fresh blue mountains air.

A 2-minute walk from the front gate of Sidneys, The gingerbread House Katoomba offers up a mean feed, with some of the tastiest jaffles you've ever had, with a super kid-friendly outdoor area and a cheeky lolly store inside!
A hidden gem that you do not want to miss. A 30-minute walk from the car park, you're greeted with an secluded and gorgeous waterfall. If weather permits, a swim is a must.
