Mountain View Glamping
Adventure in Tilba Tilba, South Coast, NSW, AU
Located on the idyllic South Coast of NSW is Mountain View Farm, named for its breathtaking location at the foot of Mount Gulaga. Nestled amongst the farm and only a short drive from the towns of Tilba and Narooma. The property is ideally located within a short drive of a range of amazing attractions such as Mystery Bay Beach, Tilba Valley Winery, and the Eurobodalla State Forest's trails.
The Tent House has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We arrived on what felt like the wettest weekend Tilba had seen in years, and as we approached our stay, soaked in the rain, we expected a slightly damp situation in the tent, however, we arrived to the total opposite. A warm, spacious and inviting space that was comfortable beyond our imagination. The double bed was super comfortable, and the armchairs made for great spots to read.
Outside, we were surrounded by nature. Just what we needed. As we opened the tent's doors in the morning, we were greeted by the mist rolling over Mt Gulaga, horses playing in the field and cows grazing not far from us.
The Tent House is only a short drive to attractions such as the historic town of Tilba (about a 2 min drive), beaches at Mystery Bay (about an 8-minute drive) and the major town of Narooma (about 15 minutes drive). Everything you need is stone's throw from your tent. And for foodies, the stay is a 2 min walk from the fantastic La Galette French cafe. So much to see and do for a weekend away.
Rain or not, it was a fantastic weekend away for us, and we can't wait to revisit the town.

Things We Did
- Beach
- Hike
- Winery
Mystery Bay, in the Eurobodalla Shire, has to be seen to be believed. A stunning beach with rocky outcrops, tunnels and natural caves to explore, the beach is a fantastic place to catch a sunrise or go for a swim.
On the drive between Tilba and Narooma lies a range of fire trails and brief rainforest walks where you can get out and see some picturesque and overlooked nature areas. Our favourite - take a turn off for the Corunna Lake Picnic Area. All around this area are short walks for you to explore.
The Tilba Valley Winery is a short drive between Tilba and Narooma, on the Old Pacific Highway. A small yet picturesque little winery, with live music on the weekends during the holiday periods. Have a glass of their red whilst seated in their amazing outdoor area overlooking the grapes at the foot of the hills. They even have pretty cool kids play area to keep the kids entertained whilst you enjoy a beverage or two.
