Yearning for a few green acres to roam? At this traditional style farmhouse, you’ll finally get your chance.
We arrived with a drizzle, but the moody weather only enhanced the wild feel and sense of wonder of this historic 250-acre coastal farm. The sounds of rain mixed with flickering light and crackling fire filled our ears as we sat in the well-appointed and spacious living room with freshly roasted marshmallows in hand.
A picturesque of rolling hills, wide-open views of pastureland, paddocks, and abundant wildlife right in our backyard, not to mention that kangaroos roaming freely, making it an ultimate escape for city dwellers.
The Jervis Bay area is home to pristine beaches and bushland to explore. Our top pick is Hyams Beach with its amazingly clear water and powdery white sand.
It was so therapeutic to return home to a warm tub and soak in the view after a long coastal journey.

Hyams Beach is renowned for its stunning stretch of fine white sand and crystal clear water only a short 9-minute drive from the property. We were rewarded with a breathtaking view of Point Perpendicular, Bowen Island, and the Jervis Bay Marine Park. This beach would also make such a great spot for snorkelling and swimming. Take your camera!
A sprawling 250-acre of coastal land means there is plenty to explore. Kangaroos roam freely in our backyard, horse, along with cockatoos and many other animals you can observe.
Situated in the hustle and bustle of Owen Street in Huskisson, this cafe was a real find. We went for lunch here and were blown away by the food. Must try: Fried squid, pickled papaya add on hash brown (the best hash brown on earth)
