Bodacious Beach Lodge
Adventure in Saint Andrews Beach, Mornington Peninsula, VIC, AU
This beach lodge in St Andrews had us in awe. A perfect custom designed home that has kept its original charm was our perfect home base for trips all along the Mornington Peninsula. You can drive ten minutes in any direction and find surf or relaxation beaches and the Mornington Hot Springs are just around the corner.
The home is a cosy two-bedroom space, with a large open-plan living. You can stay in the open mezzanine level or in a private room on the ground floor. The house has everything you will need including a stocked kitchen, BBQ, fireplace and even its own jacuzzi. You can relax on the balcony's and enjoy the sunrise or sit in the jacuzzi and watch the stars above your head as you soak away your troubles.
We spent a large part of our day at Point Nepean National Park. There are endless walks you can do to witness the history of the Australian Defence Force that protected the coastline in the late 1800s, and it is only fifteen minutes away.
There is so much to do that you could stay here five times and still not see it all. Customise your journey and enjoy this unique Riparide experience at the St Andrews Beach Lodge.

Things We Did
- Walk
- Beach
- Café
A piece of history that shows the defence forces efforts to protect the Victorian coastline. You can walk inside and venture through the old army bases.
This national park is surrounded by coastline and walking trails in all directions. Walk or take a bike ride through the national park. It will take about 2- 3 hours to go from one end to the other and back on foot.
This tranquil beach is perfect for the family or anyone who just wants some calm water. You can walk a hundred meters out and the water will be at your waist height.
This cafe lives right next to the beach. You can have some delicious food, take a coffee away and walk along the pier. There were local swimming competitions the morning we watched from the shore. A great local spot.
