We live in the Seattle area. We love to travel and visit new places. We became fans of short term rentals many years ago and have used them to stay in homes around the world.
Because we have a large family we purchased a property in Eastern Washington; best decision we ever made. We feel like we won the lottery! Once we started using our cabin we found out the area we are in offers so much! Hiking, summer market, small-town feel, the lake, the night life in Roslyn, the quiet of the woods, snowy winters and hot summers. What a gem we have found! Our family has made so many great memories at our cabin, from Christmas in the snow to fun lake days in the summer. The boys in our family love to ride dirt bikes and quads into the hills above our property (in the winter they snowmobile) I’m more of a lake person for summer and coffee and a book by the fire in the winter. After owning our property for over a year, we decided we wanted to share it with others when we are not there ourselves. Boy! We’re we surprised by the popularity! In the summer I have to block dates or we would not be able to use it. We try our best to accommodate our guests requests because it’s the right thing to do and because we are very familiar with what it’s like to be the guest. Fortunately, both as a host and as a guest our experiences have always been very positive and we plan to keep them that way!
