Beautiful cabin in the woods near Lake Cle-Elum. Come enjoy the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Sit on the deck or take a swim down at the lake. Dirt bike/quad or snowmobile out the front door into miles of trails.

The Cabin is 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a large loft area upstairs which has 2 twin beds. The kitchen comes fully equipped.

Who are we a good fit for?
*Families and couples looking to get away and relax
*Hikers needing a home base, etc

Who are we NOT a good fit for?
*Bachelor and bachelorette parties
*Any other group looking for a party place. We are not isolated, we have nice neighbors, but they have families and they will call me if my guests are partying/being disruptive (quiet hours 10 pm to 8 am). Please do not book my place if this is your intent, we are not a good fit which means you may not have the grand time you were hoping for.
*smokers, please do not smoke anywhere in our property.

Additional Information

Guest have access to the entire cabin. For the safety of our guests access to the garage is prohibited. The space to the right of our cabin (as you come up the driveway) belongs to the neighbor, please help us respect his property by not parking there.

While every guest who has stayed with us LOVES our cabin, some don’t like our driveway which is steep. You will need AWD or 4WD, if you don’t have either, there is street parking and you can walk up. There is a picture of the driveway provided to help you gauge things. You’ve come to the mountains! This place is such a change of pace from regular life. It is time to relax, enjoy and be adventurous. Please understand we are in the MOUNTAINS, driveways are what nature provides.

We are available via phone/text anytime.

The cabin is located within a 5 min drive to lake Cle-Elum. Lost of hiking trails close by. The lovely town of Roslyn is 20 minutes away. During the summer there is an open-air market on Sunday mornings. The nightlife in Roslyn is also great.

In the winter the cabin is accessible via snowmobile only. If you are planning a stay on or after Thanksgiving time, please read over winter access information.

Quiet hours must be observed between 10 PM and 8 AM.

**WINTER ACCESS**

Our cabin is only accessible via snowmobile once the snow starts (around thanksgiving time). You’ll be able to park at the bottom of our community in a designated parking area and ride snowmobiles up to the property. It’s an approximately 1/2 mile ride from the parking area to the cabin. Many guests ask if it is walkable. Carrying luggage in the snow and uphill… I would say only if you are in tiptop shape. Recently a community member started a taxi service. If you are interested I can provide you the contact info.

If you do not own snowmobiles you can rent them right down the road (see map in photos) Please call them to check availability and make reservations 509 649 2444. Note: we do not have any affiliation with this rental shop. We are simply providing information to help guests.

In nature the sound of voices and music travels far, in order to respect our neighbors, quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM.

Please minimum food in the garbage disposal. The cabin is on a septic system.

Speaking of food, please do not allow children to eat in the loft or in other carpeted areas.

Also, because the garbage cannot be left outside. One (kitchen size) bag of garbage per night stay (I.e two night stay, two 13gal trash bags). Any extras you must take with you.

We live in the Seattle area. We love to travel and visit new places. We became fans of short term rentals many years ago and have used them to stay in homes around the world. Because we have a large family we purchased a property in Eastern Washington; best decision we ever made. We feel like we won the lottery! Once we started using our cabin we found out the area we are in offers so much! Hiking, summer market, small-town feel, the lake, the night life in Roslyn, the quiet of the woods, snowy winters and hot summers. What a gem we have found! Our family has made so many great memories at our cabin, from Christmas in the snow to fun lake days in the summer. The boys in our family love to ride dirt bikes and quads into the hills above our property (in the winter they snowmobile) I’m more of a lake person for summer and coffee and a book by the fire in the winter. After owning our property for over a year, we decided we wanted to share it with others when we are not there ourselves. Boy! We’re we surprised by the popularity! In the summer I have to block dates or we would not be able to use it. We try our best to accommodate our guests requests because it’s the right thing to do and because we are very familiar with what it’s like to be the guest. Fortunately, both as a host and as a guest our experiences have always been very positive and we plan to keep them that way!
