We're Mark + Mim, the travel writers, photographers, and videographers behind the award-winning travel blog and social channels, The Common Wanderer. Our mission is to inspire curious modern travellers to explore more sustainably through beautiful storytelling and informative curated travel guides. In 2015, we shifted our traditional marketing jobs to the not-so-traditional online world, sharing our love of travel, storytelling, and sustainability with our online community and beyond.
Since then a lot has changed, yet our inspirations remain the same: slow, responsible travel in exciting destinations, authentic real-life experiences, and meaningful connections with people and places. Today, The Common Wanderer website reaches a global audience of over 200,000 readers every month, making it one of the most trusted and widely read independent travel blogs on the internet. In 2020, we won Blogger of the Year at the UK TravMedia Awards, recognising our standing amongst the finest influencer, PR, and journalism achievements in
the travel sector. In 2019, we won the travel and photography categories of the UK Blog Awards.

Beautiful guests, such a pleasure + privileged to host. Communicative, super clean, tidy + very professional when it came to staying as Riparide storytellers. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Miranda, Mark + their little bub to stay at yours + if you’re lucky enough, provide a Riparide story!
