Always having loved the rugged coastline along the Great Ocean Road, and wanting to live near the sea, in 1998 I moved to Aireys Inlet where I have fond childhood memories fishing from the bridge my uncles help build, and surfing the area as a teenager.
I designed and built the 'Unforgettable Seaside Cottage' (AKA 'Aireys Overboard Seaside Cottage') which was completed in 2004 and has become a favourite for many regular guests who come back year after year.
I wanted to create a place that was distinctive and unique and that I would want to come and stay at myself. A place that would leave fond memories of an amazing seaside escape.
