Whakanewha Regional Park

Forest in Waiheke Island
Whakanewha Regional Park is Waiheke Island's only Regional Park, and rightfully so. It is clad with native bush (bringing with it a connection of short to long bush walks for the hikers) and taken up by a huge bay that when filled with water, is a unique spot not replicated anywhere else on Waiheke Island.

Perfect for a swim, walk, picnic, or lawn games with the kids or gang, or for extending your Island stay after your Riparide booking by camping in the well set up campground, it's a spot to spend half a day at least appreciating the beauty.
