Day at the Prom

Wilsons Prom is a must when down this way. The weather was warm, with little wind, so it was a perfect day for the Prom's beaches. A controlled burn thwarted our attempt at visiting Whiskey Bay or Squeaky beach, so Norman Beach in Tidal River was the go. A great beach for swimming with kids as the river mouth snakes its way into the ocean and provides calm and warm water to bathe in. The imposing views of Mt Oberon and the trademark orange tinted rocks of the Prom really make this a scenic delight. We relaxed the day away on the beach and even grabbed some small, clean and fun waves on the surfboard.
