Shopping and Coffee in Downtown Lynden
Town in Lynden, WA
We decided to spend our Saturday morning walking along and browsing the quaint storefronts. Lynden, WA is a town full of rich, Dutch history (thanks to the many Dutch immigrants who founded and developed the town). This is why you'll see several windmills along the historic Front Street. Our first stop was at the Lynden Dutch Bakery where we picked up some delicious Stroopwafel.
We then popped into Katz Coffee and Used Books. The shop was as welcoming as it was charming and I could have easily spent an entire morning sipping coffee and catching up with old friends (which it seemed like many people were doing!) Our final stop on Front Street was Lenny's Bike Shop where we got some local advice on mountain bike trail conditions.
