Stargazing at Medlands Beach

Aotea Great Barrier Island is one of only a few International Dark Sky Sanctuaries in the world, and as such it boasts a simply incredible night sky. We were lucky to get some clear nights and made our way to the beach to watch the stars. Stargazing experiences can also be booked on the island with Good Heavens - Dark Sky Experiences.
