Ground Yourself in Nature
Adventure in Auckland, NZ
Just off the beaten path awaits a hidden paradise of native trees and bird song, so tucked away that if you weren’t reading this you probably wouldn’t even know it existed!
The treehouse is a unique and memorable experience that allows you to connect with nature in a way that is difficult to replicate in most other accommodation. Surrounded by some of Aotearoa’s most magnificent birds and their tranquil songs, this treehouse is completely off grid and sustainably built to have as little impact as possible on its location.
The treehouse immerses you in nature to reconnect, explore the land, enjoy the outdoor bath amgonst the lushous greenery and forget about the world outside for a while.
Once you settle in, it’s time to explore. There's plenty of meandering paths right off your back door that lead through bush in all directions - the options are endless. You can follow the markers to a little lake with its own row boat, you can trek along endless creeks to try spot an eel, or the elusive glow worms at night and there's a swing for the little ones to play on.
For that full NZ bush feel, there is your classic long drop facility, and you’ll want to pack an esky as there is no fridge, but if you are looking for an absolutely stunning off grid oasis to sneak away from day to day life for a moment, look no further....

Glow worms are a unique experience and its not often you get a tour by the hosts in your backyard. We got picked up on the four wheeler as soon as it turned dark enough, it was my first time trying to capture glow worms, I definitely didn't have much patience for the long exposures but seeing all the glow worms in real life is like being in a fairy tale and an experience I will always remember....

We were so lucky to have our own forest/bush walk at our door step, you could get lost in their for hours and hours. With all the gorgeous and friendly birds following along you along the path, we had so much fun exploring the property. There had been a bit of damage after the storms so make sure to pack some appropriate footwear!...
