Fighting the Wind at Big Drift

As we arrived slightly before our check-in time, we spent some time checking out the Big Drift – a dramatic, almost apocalyptic landscape of vast sand dunes and native trees. You’d swear you were in the Middle East! Be sure to take a stick or two with you to mark your tracks, as the wind can blow away your footsteps. We were lucky enough to witness a beautiful rainbow upon the horizon of the national park.
