A School of Wild Salmon at Lorne Beach

We made a quick stop at Lorne Beach to stretch our legs and it turned out to be a huge highlight of the weekend. Walking along the beach, we noticed movement in the water as the girls jumped over the waves. Up went the drone to check it out, and all that movement turned out to be a school of wild Australian salmon. We stayed for an hour to watch them jump out of the water – such a rewarding experience to see the sheer size of them together in a group.
