Riding Palouse Cascades State Park Trail

After parking at either the Rattlesnake Lake Recreation area or nearby Cedar Falls Trailhead, you can hop on the Palouse Cascades State Park Trail system. This 250-mile trail runs all the way from North Bend to the Columbia River near Vantage, WA. Hikers, bikers and even equestrians, in certain sections, are able to enjoy this trail system. With access points and trailheads every few miles, it's easy to explore in sections or as a long-distance hiking or biking trip. Parking at both locations can be limited on the weekends and a Discovery Pass is required at Cedar Falls Trailhead, or a day pass can be purchased for $10. There is no fee to park at Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area.
