Explore the Karangahake Windows Walk

This short walk in the Karangahake Gorge is a must do if you're passing through the area. This easy 1.5hour walk follows an old tramway line, crosses swing bridges over the rives and passes through historic mine tunnels where openings carved into the rock frame dramatic views down into the gorge. Make sure you bring a torch for the tunnels.
