Bird watching at Tawharanui Regional Park

This beautiful regional park has undertaken a lot of work to become predator free to protect our native birds. With beautiful coasts and walks through bush tracks during the day, you can also explore at night for a chance to spot wild kiwi! Remember to park before 7pm (the gates close for entry at 7pm but you can leave anytime after), and bring your red-light torch to not disturb the wildlife!
