Ferny Creek Campsite in Wallingat National Park
Camping in Wallingat, NSW
Wallingat NP and Bachel State Forest are an awesome little adventure playground. We passed by there on our way from Sydney to Pacific Palms and boy was it a great little scenic detour.
It's best to check with National Parks or Wikicamps whether the roads are accessible by 2WD after particular weather, but when we drove from Buladelah, down Ferny Creek Rd toward Ferny Creek Campground, it was very bumpy and ONLY a 4WD would have made it.
Ferny Creek Campground is a good spot, except it was quite busy when we got there. Luckily, our car has quite high clearance, so we snuck off down a little dirt bike trail to get some solitude (highly recommended).
