The cabin is located in amongst the gum trees, tucked away in a private space of it's own, looking out over a cottage garden and treed gully beyond. It is on 1.5 acres right in the heart of Mount Macedon, within an easy walk to the village, but has a very quiet and peaceful feel, with beautiful views from every window.

The Main cottage on the property is well out of sight and ear shot from the cabin, but the wild life is a constant companion. Bird song (in particular kookaburras) and frogs wake you up and lull you to sleep and kangaroos often come to graze.

There is an outdoor area with a cooking fire equipped with a grill, camp oven and billy for campfire cooking and viewing terrace where you can sit by the a fire pit and see across the trees to the Gisborne Ranges.
