Off-grid Glory
Adventure in Tooborac, Macedon Ranges, VIC, AU
Welcome to the most serene, relaxing, private little getaway in nature that you can imagine! Living up to its name ‘Joy’ this gorgeous off-grid escape is situated on a private farm with the most spectacular uninterrupted views.
As soon as we drove up we were delighted by the sights and were ready to become fully immersed in the beautiful surroundings. Wilka Eco Escapes is ideal for those wishing to escape the city, escape the daily grind, and truly unplug.
We enjoyed in particular the outdoor hot tub, where you can take it all in and fully get into relaxation mode - I was in there for the majority of the stay! We also had a delicious barbecue on the patio while admiring the view. Once it got a little chilly we took advantage of the indoor fireplace. The bed was also a dream to sleep on, and waking up to the views was magical.
During our stay, we visited a few places nearby, such as Tooborac where we devoured the famous house-made pies at the pie shop and drank some tasty craft beer at the iconic Tooborac Hotel. We also explored the historic Pyalong Trestle Bridge, the stunning pink cliffs in Heathcote, and Viewing Rock. There’s plenty to see and do, or just enjoy the comforts and beauty of ‘Joy’.
If you are seeking a rejuvenating escape, look no further. Taking in sunrise, sunset, and the stars at night from our little cabin made us feel like it was just our own secluded slice of paradise within nature. Staying at ‘Joy’ is an experience you won’t forget.
