If you are after a relaxing break in a fab coastal surf town this is it. Our STUDIO is ATTACHED although totally separated from main dwelling offering privacy, comfort and space. Situated in a quiet neighborhood location. Only 3/5 minutes by car to Barwon Heads Main Street, river, surf beaches, bars, cafes & restaurants. 20 to 25 min walk to the Main Street, beach, river & shops. Enjoy the beautiful beaches by day and return to the studio for a relaxing outdoor bath and dinner by the chiminea (outdoor fire).

We would love you to leave no trace... well, almost no trace! While we don’t expect you to deep clean the place... we are very grateful if you to leave our studio pretty much as you found it. This is how I am able to not charge you for cleaning . Please wash dry your dishes and put back where found. Turn off all appliances please.

This was a beautiful place to stay that was private and cosy with a wonderful vibe. It was fully self contained with everything we needed. An outdoor bath with the fire going was the perfect way to end the evening. Lots of beach walks, great food with some shopping thrown in!

The sparkling blue waters of the Barwon River, where the river meets the sea in Barwon Heads, really is natures playground. If water sports is your thing, this still water way is popular among Stand Up Paddle Boarders and Kayakers. A fisherman’s favourite and the perfect swimming spot for the kids.

Beach

Head down to Ocean Grove Main Beach for a relaxing day in the sun. This is a beautiful patrolled beach, great for surfers and swimmers of all levels. Let life’s stresses pass you by as you stroll along the sea shore taking in the moment.

Surfing

Thirteenth Beach is a beautiful stretch of beach spanning 4.5 kilometres west of Barwon Heads. A well-known surf spot with consistent waves for surfers of varied skill levels. The waves are good all year round, so pack your wetsuit in the cooler months and get salty.

Bike Riding

The Bellarine Rail Trail is 35kms long (one way). The bike path guides cyclists through the Bellarine Peninsula, joining the regions favourite attractions. From coastal views to bush settings, you will experience the diverse landscape which makes the Bellarine so unique. From Barwon Heads you can just do a section of the trail from Drysdale to Queenscliff (16.5km)

Surfing At Bells Beach

Only a short drive from the accommodation near the town of Torquay, is the world renowned Bells Beach where surfers of all skill levels can go and enjoy that perfect wave. Although, Bells Beach is incredible whether you’re in the water or out.
