The Ducks Nest is a beachside unique side by side caravan and cabin nested in a rescued animals sanctuary. You'll have privacy and a white sandy beach 30meters from your doorstep.
Your cabin sleeps 3 with separate kitchen and new shower and compost toilet. There is a shared ablution block 1 minute walk away with washing machine and tub.
Second bedroom is a Vintage caravan, especially fun for families and children - sleeps 3
Get in touch if you want to BYO dogs, or add a extra double bed campervan.

Amazing location. Very private setting. The inner harbour beach front is only meters from the door. We offer use of our kayaks to all guests at no charge.
Included is fresh eggs from our chickens & fresh lemons.
Catch your dinner next to the cabins if you like or take a stroll to the Pahoia Beach domain & catch a snapper for tea.

We have plenty of farm animals to entertain the kids with.
You can't beat the incredible location. Very handy to Tauranga CBD only a 15 minute drive. Omokoroa is only down the road offering restaurants, cafes, supermarket, liquor store & pharmacy. Katikati is only a 10 min drive. Plenty of attractions close by.

The stay was amazing and host Tracey is lovely 💜 kids loved animals on farm and swings!! Our older one wanted to stay longer. Definitely recommend it!!!

Lovely place to stay very friendly highly recommended if you are taking you beloved dog as they are very dog friendly we loved the bay and use of kayaks.

Perfect family and dog friendly getaway close to the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and animals that roam property. Loved the simple necessities and being surrounded in nature. Tracy was very welcoming and we enjoyed using the kayaks to go on a little adventure.

Hang Out At Omokoroa Beach

A beautiful spot to take the family out for a swim at this safe white sandy beach. The playground nearby is also offering fun packed entertainment for the kids.

Skippers Restaurant

Enjoy your meal right on top of the water overlooking the beautiful harbor. Definition of meal with a view!

Katikati Bird Gardens

Located on the outskirts of Katikati, the bird gardens is a lovely spot for a leisurely stroll. $11 entry fee and no shortage of chickens, turkeys and the odd peacock roaming free. There are a number of other birds to be viewed and the gardens themselves are beautiful.

This lush private garden is a few minutes out of Katikati and is well worth a visit on a nice day. Entry is $11 for adults and you can buy bird food for $1, and there's a cafe on-site if you're hungry. Spot chickens, pheasants, geese, guinea fowl, peacocks and more.

The Aongagtete Swimming Holes are a gorgeous local spot to explore. From the car park, it’s an easy 30 minutes walk to the pools through Pūriri and Kohekohe forest. We went for a quick swim and then relaxed in the sun near the pools.
