Situated in "Cool Country" Trentham , the Chef's Shed was originally built in 1860 and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay.
It has quirky living spaces, including a loft and wide stunning views over the land around, including from the private sauna (reasonable fee applies).

It is an ideal spot to explore the region from. We are next to the Trentham Falls and surrounded by nature , including the Wombat forest. It's only a few minutes to historic Trentham with cafes, pubs walking tracks and a lot of history.

Having lived in different places in the world we settled in Australia about 20 years ago. We spent the last 10 years renovating the old farm house and the Chef's Shed. As an architect this was a dream come true for me. Our son Jochem has contributed his artistic and building skills in realising the Chef's Shed design. After my husband Bart retired we now look after the Chef's Shed together.
