My partner and I once again, had such a lovely stay at Banksia. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It was warm and inviting the moment ...we walked in, with thoughtful touches like extra blankets, good coffee and some sweet surprises in the fridge. The host, Marisa was incredibly friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience even smoother. If you are looking for a peaceful, cozy spot that feels like a home away from home, I can't recommend this place enough. We are already talking about planning our third visit, we LOVE Banksia.

Mount Towrong Vineyard

Macedon Ranges is known for its wine and Mount Towrong Vineyard was one of our favourite winery stops. We enjoyed a wine tasting and learned about the architectural history from the owner himself, before sitting for some nibbles and a glass of the Lagrein 2019 while admiring the views. Helpful tip: Come hungry – the food looked absolutely delicious here.

The Homely Eclectic Pub

Homely and eclectic, the Mount Macedon hotel was one of our favourite visits. With in-house gin and tonics, a crackling fire and lovely staff, you’d be silly not to pop in. With hundreds of beer tap logos spread across the ceilings of the pub, it's safe to assume they've tried a few beers and know what they're talking about. We cosied up by the crackling fire with a few couple of glasses of wine to reflect and unwind from our busy day.
