WEILHOUSE LIVING: WHO WE ARE
We offer 4 unique properties under our WeilHouse Living brand. We are part of the growing Slow Stay movement, offering a place to slow down, reconnect and recharge, and catering to a more conscious traveller.

We have three farm stays on our beautiful 8 acre organic Farm in Bellingen in NSW and we have a fantastic eco-friendly off the grid wilderness hut in Hernani, in the New England tablelands 1 hour from Bellingen.

Each property has been lovingly built and restored to tread lightly on the planet and to maximise the beautiful surrounds. The Bellingen Farm House, The Bellingen Vintage Farmstay, The Bellingen Farm Shed and Hernani Wilderness Hut all cater to a wide range of tastes and budgets. OUR VISION
Our vision is simple, we are committed to providing our guests with eco-friendly accomodation and to provide you with a beautiful space which is fully equiped for you to enjoy your holiday with your loved ones.

YOUR SPACE
The house is completely private with open plan and two bedrooms. We have created a relaxed and homely space where you can relax and enjoy the surrounds. Our interiors are mix of pre-loved, recycled vintage and Australian country collectables. The house is light and airy, with views of our paddocks and citrus orchard.

EXTRA GUESTS
We can accommodate 2 extra guests if their happy to sleep on a spare mattress on the floor. We provide all linen and towels for this.

KITCHEN
This property has a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and oven and a dishwasher plenty of pots and pans, plates and glasses for your stay. This house is stocked with basic baking equipment, toasted sandwich press, rice steamer, smoothie blender, hand press citrus juicer, stove top espresso and cake missing blades. We supply everything you need to cook some great meals at the farm.
Our pantry items include salt and pepper, herbs and spices, olive oils, a range of vinegars, assorted toast spreads and condiments, soya sauce, tomato sauce and vinegars and all the basics you would need to cook great meal. We do not provide bread and butter and milk but please let us know if you would like us to organise this for you.

LAYOUT
There is a queen sized bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom. Whilst we can accomodate 4 people comfortably we are happy to extend this to 6 guests if your children are happy to sleep on a single mattress on the floor or we can sleep two extra children on our two day beds in the living space. If you would like to do this please notify us of this in your message and we can organise this for you. We also provide a kindercot for those travelling with a baby.

AMENITIES
There is one bathroom with shower, bath and laundry facilities. There is a fully fenced backyard, an outdoor bonfire area, gas BBQ and a small orchard to complete a very comfortable family stay. This property has a slow combustion indoor fireplace and a reverse cycle heater/air conditioner as well as ceiling fans for the summer months.
The house has a TV and DVD player with a great collection of movies for your kids and adults to enjoy. We have an old record player with a mix of classic records to remind your kids what we grew up with! Also a connector for your iPhones and MP3 players.

OUTDOOR BATH
This property has a private outdoor bath under the stairs, with views over the citrus orchard and paddock.

OUR FARM ANIMALS
We have two dogs, three horses, two sheep, two miniature Pygmy goats, two native stingless bee hives, and our beautiful heritage chickens free ranging on the farm. Our cows are enjoying greener pastures on our neighbours farm.

If your children would like to help us feed our chickens each morning and collect eggs in the afternoon please let us know and we’ll organise for them to help us.

OUR FARM FRESH VEGGIES
We are organically certified and we grow beautiful seasonal fruit and veggies and eggs, if you would like a box of veggies and eggs (aprox $50-$80) depending on the size of your group and the length of your stay, please let us know when you book and we will have it waiting for you when you arrive. This can be paid for in cash when you arrive.

OUR PERMACULTURE STYLE FARM
If you want to have a look at our garden and orchard please let us know so we can try and make time to show you through.

PETS
We apologise, but we no longer offer Pet friendly stays here, we do allow service dogs upon request and at an additional fee of $25 per night. There isn a wonderful well priced local dog kennel and you're welcome to take your dog out for the day and drop them back overnight.

THINGS TO DO
We have plenty of board games, books and puzzles.
Let your children help us feed the chickens and collect the eggs.
We have swings, a tree house and a trampoline for your children to enjoy.

GUEST INFO FOLDER
There is an information folder at the house which explains where everything is and how it all works. It lists all the best local cafes and restaurants and tells you what there is to do and see in our local area.

We have many outdoor activities for you to enjoy in the area. We have a detailed list of these in our guest information folder at the house.

GUEST ACCESS
You have your own private house on the farm with flat access. You have a fully fenced backyard where your dogs and children can play safely. You are welcome to enjoy our whole farm and explore the property. We have swings, a treehouse and a trampoline for your children to enjoy.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We run a busy farm...but we always pop down and say hello (not always as soon as you arrive) and goodbye if we can. Then we leave you to your holiday. We are however, happy for you to come up and visit us and for your children to play with ours if we're around. We would like you to make yourselves at home and enjoy all that our farm offers.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Our house uses rain tank water and we recycle the grey water, so please only use biodegradable soaps and washing powers. We supply guests with eco friendly laundry detergent and soaps.

COVID TRAVEL POLICY
Given the current state of Covid and to ensure the health and safety of all our guests visiting our farm for their holiday we now require the following: Guests must either provide their negative PCR test or their RAT test (rapid antigen test) prior to arrival. Should guests tests positive they will be unable to attend their holiday and will forfeit their booking. We are unable to provide refunds or travel credits for guests that are unable to attend as a result of having Covid. We highly suggest that guests take out travel insurance to cover any accidental loss of funds as a result of Covid. Thank you for your understanding.

COVID CANCELLATIONS
Government Policy
If your trip is cancelled due to government policy restricting travel, or a lockdown as a result of Covid 19, we will offer you a travel credit of equal value to be used within 6 months of your original booking date. There are no extensions for this time period, so we suggest you book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Should you reduce the number of guests from your original booking we will not offer any refunds.

COVID POSITIVE
If you test positive to Covid prior to your arrival, you will not be able to have your holiday. We will not be offering refunds or travel credits as we will be unable to fill your booking. Should you arrive at our farm and test positive for Covid during your stay, we will either ask you to leave and complete your isolation at home or for longer bookings you're welcome to have your holiday here as long as we can rest the house for 72 hrs before the next guest arrives, in which case you may have to reduce the length of your holiday to accomodate that safety gap.
