Cozy Van in Bush Setting

5 people
Pet-friendly
Glamping inside a designated onsite van with 12v lights (no power), flushing toilet, fire place, queen bed, king single bed and fold out lounge. Additional cabin behind van suitable for a couple or teenage retreat with double bed and lounge.  Potable water in containers provided (no running water), outside table and chairs, BBQ, outside kitchen bench, single burner gas cooker and kettle provided.  You will need to provide your own linen (sleeping bags, pillows, towels), esky.  A wash up basin, garbage and recycle bins for clean up are provided.

Our property backs onto Shoalhaven River where you can swim, fish, canoe, prospect for gold and bushwalk.  The track from our farm to river is recommended for 4WD due to sand and steep slopes.  It is approx. 2kms in length so makes a lovely bush walk or mountain bike ride.

Dogs are permitted as long as they are on a lead at all times, we are a working farm with many animals so it's not ideal for them to roam free.

Our farm animals get fed each day at approx. 5pm if you would like to come and interact with our friendly pets.

Our farm house is visible if you need anything, come up to the fence and our dogs will alert us, however far enough that you don't see or hear us.  The area is yours.

Games available upon request; giant jenga, checkers and Pétanque.  Lots of beautiful areas to enjoy.

Our local pub, The Nerriga Hotel, is 14kms away, they serve lunch from 12-3pm or dinner on Friday and Saturday nights 6-8pm.

Our closest towns are Goulburn or Braidwood, both 60km away, so you will need to bring all of your essentials.  Ice is available from Nerriga Hotel.

Tricia and Rainer purchased their 100-acre farm nestled on the banks of the Shoalhaven River in 2004 as a weekend escape from the city for the family. Rainer a builder and Tricia a National Operations Manager, soon fell in love with the rural lifestyle and it only took about 4 years to turn it into their family home. It is their working truffle farm from June to August, however after many requests we have opened the variety of accommodation spots to getaway and enjoy life unhurried under our great sky. EV Charging station available Type 2 plug (costs applicable). The farm is located 2.5 hours from Sydney, 1 hour from Goulburn, Marulan, Braidwood and Nowra and 1.5 hours from Canberra. We have alpacas, goats, horses, chickens, miniature Galloway cattle and a pet pig - Truffle who all roam the property freely. They'll be sure to come by and say hello or have a glance in the window. We have an open, fun approach and enjoy life unhurried, with our animals and the beauty of our property, hence why we love to share it.

Coffee And Treats At Deadwood

Deadwood is a cafe but not quite in the sense that it also sells indoor plants, books, flowers and candles. The result is a quirky little haven, full of character and altogether gorgeous. It of course serves delicious Campos coffee but also sweet and savoury treats. We had a quiche there for lunch and could not resist getting some of their amazing cake to take away.
Tianjara Falls Lookout

Tianjara Falls Lookout

If you are visiting from Canberra make sure you stop in at Tianjara Falls on the way home. It is a short walk to the viewing platform but if you are for a bit more adventure there are plenty of rock climbing routes to take advantage of!

French It Up At Provisions

I did not expect to find a genuine taste from home in Braidwood, yet it is what we found when we walked into Provisions, a deli and restaurant run by a lovely French family. While the restaurant/cafe is a traditional French “creperie”, the deli offers a range of Australian imported cheeses and antipasti, as well as groceries from international and local artisan producers. We had lunch there and were treated to delicious and authentic galettes.
A must stop to resupply for your perfect wine and cheese night around the fire!
