PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY.
By accessing, browsing or otherwise using Riparide's website, you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms together with any Pre-Arrival Instructions and Additional House Rules or Cabin Guides provided to you via email, text message or at the cabin
GENERAL STATEMENT OF CAUTION
Huch Cabins are located on properties that are often very rural, mostly undeveloped plots of land in the bush and wilderness areas. Guests are completely responsible for their own safety and for having basic wilderness survival skills (e.g. do not approach wild animals, do not leave food out, etc.). We/Huch is not liable for bodily injury (including death) or damage to personal property, including vehicles, due to exposure to inclement weather or rural, rugged settings including but not limited to flooding, wind, fallen trees, fire or waterways (creeks, billabongs, ponds, lakes, rivers etc). By booking a Huch cabin, guests recognise and accept this responsibility and affirm they have these general skills.
WATER & HOT TUBS
Huch cabins are placed on plots of land where water such as streams, lakes and ponds may be present. Huch also provides wood fired hot tubs at its cabin locations.
Guests are completely responsible for their own safety and the safety of their children and for having good swimming skills (e.g. do not enter water or try to swim if you are not an experienced swimmer).
The NSW Swimming Pools Regulation 2018 requires spa pools and hot tubs to be covered with a child resistant structure such as a lid or cover. We provide hot tub covers with each hot tub.
Guests must therefore have the hot tub cover fitted securely at all times during their stay when not using the hot tub, if they have children under 10.
Please note NSW regulations also require parents to provide constant supervision of children around water to prevent accidents. You must ensure that young children are always within arm's reach and never left unattended.
Huch is not liable for guests and their children's bodily injury (including death) due to different types of water settings and bodies including the hot tub. By booking a Huch cabin, guests recognise and accept this responsibility and affirm they have these general skills and will comply with Huch's booking terms and conditions.
In summary:
Children under 5 are not permitted to use the hot tub.
Adults must supervise children at all times when they are around an uncovered or open hot tub or any water body.
Parents must keep the hot tub covered fitted securely when not in use if they have children under 10.
NEIGHBOURS AND OTHER GUESTS QUIET ENJOYMENT
No loud music after 10pm please.
Guests should drive slowly along Angel Lane during their stay to be kind and considerate to our neighbours and any other guests buy reducing car noise and dust.
Maximum speed 20km per hour.
DRONES
Drones are not allowed in order to protect the privacy of our neighbours and other guests.
CHECK-OUT
Guests should leave the cabin on or before the checkout time. Leaving after checkout time without prior authorisation will be penalised as it could mean the cancellation of the next booking due to the cabin not being cleaned in time. If guests need to leave the location at a later time, please contact Huch prior to arrival and ask if this is possible. We try to meet guest requests, but cannot guarantee late checkouts.
DAMAGES & MISSING ITEMS
Please note that by booking a Huch cabin and accepting these terms, guests agree that they are liable for any damages or missing items caused by themselves or their accompanying party.
We go to a lot of effort and cost to provide high quality furniture and equipment for guests use and we expect the furniture and equipment to be well looked after and left at the cabin when guests leave. Please do not move indoor furniture outside as it's not designed for the sun and outdoor weather.
CLEANING
The Huch cabin will be cleaned thoroughly prior to each arrival. Before leaving, the guest is obliged to leave the Huch cabin in good condition, i.e. furniture back in its place and dishes cleaned. We will take care of the cleaning.
Although we thoroughly clean the cabins before guests arrive, sometimes dust and insects can occasionally make their way into the cabin between stays due to the rural setting of our cabins. If dust or insects are found in the cabin, for example on a window sill, we will not provide a discount or refund. However, we have left cleaning equipment and a tiny vacuum cleaner for guests to use if this type of additional cleaning is required.
DEPARTURE
Please make sure you check out on time ready for our house keeper's arrival.
Cleaning The Canopy is our job but we would be grateful if you could pop the dishes in the dishwasher and also place the daybed and sofa cushions on the floor of the tent as we have a family of Kookaburra's who make the odd mess on the cushions if no ones around.
Please do not worry about refitting the hot tub cover or removing ash from the firepit or hot tub. We will take care of those things as well.
You can either pop your rubbish and recycling in the 2 bins at the main gate (padlock code 1922) on your way home or leave it for our cleaner.
Please remember to turn off the gas heaters, gas BBQ, gas hobs and also zip up the tent doors and lock the kitchen door. You not have to lock the bathroom door.
CAMPFIRES & FIRE BANS
Campfires are an essential part of enjoying the outdoors. Fire bans occasionally happen at some of our locations. In accordance with government mandates, the use of your fire pit or burning fires of any kind, is not permitted during these events. There are no exceptions to our rescheduling/cancellation policies while active fire bans are in place. By booking a Huch cabin, guests agree to this policy
INCLEMENT WEATHER
If travel restrictions such as a bush fire or flooding prevent or prohibit travelling to, staying at, or returning from the listing location, the guest will be refunded or credited for the total value of the stay (including tax). This does not include non-binding travel advisories and similar government guidance.
Keep in mind that you may encounter steep driveways/roads, wet weather, curious wildlife, and cellular/connection issues. Huch cabins are offered for rental during the winter months and in the unlikely event that a guest is unable to leave a property on the planned departure date, the guest will not be liable for any additional accommodation charges. Guests are also reminded to ensure that they and their vehicles are suitably prepared and equipped for driving in the rural conditions likely to be encountered during their visit to the property. Huch personnel do not provide assistance with stuck guest vehicles. Each property is accessible by tow truck. Huch is not responsible for guest towing services.
PREPARATION FOR ARRIVAL
Guests are expected familiarise themselves with Huch’s policies and guides which will be emailed to you. Please get in touch with our team if they have any questions before check-in. We will prepare each cabin for check-in and will be available on the phone to help with arrival. Each confirmation email states contact information for Huch, should guests need it.

We understand things get left behind, however Huch is not responsible for lost or stolen items left on property. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure all personal belongings are collected upon check-out.
CAMPFIRE, LITTERING, NOISE POLLUTION & CONDUCT
Safety and ensuring a good experience for all of our guests is important to us. We ask that guests never leave a campfire unattended and to never leave food and/or trash outside as it will attract wild animals.

Should a breakdown or some other situation occur that renders a non-essential element unusable, Huch does not take responsibility for replacing or refunding the guest for the lack of use of these equipment or facilities. The equipment and facilities referred to include (but are not exclusive to) such items as stove, toilet, shower, lights, air con and sink. The guest must report any inoperative or defective equipment to Huch promptly. We will make every reasonable effort to have repairs made as soon as possible.
