We had such a beautiful stay. The place is full of character, and you can really feel the history woven into every corner. It ended up being the perfect spot to celebrate my partner’s birthday, peacef...ul, cosy, and so thoughtfully put together.
The surroundings are stunning, the accommodation was spotless, and the whole atmosphere made us unwind the moment we arrived. We loved wandering around the property and taking in the views.
It was a truly memorable stay. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and calming escape.

Wool Shop Weaving Morning Tea
Each morning, Tom the host creates a coffee for his parents and any guests looking for a delicious coffee. Sometimes morning tea cake arrives too! We had a wholesome morning weaving wool, drinking coffee and drifting around the wool shop.

Otway Artisan Gluten Free Bakery
We had an amazing gluten free panini from this cafe. The panini was that delicious, we went back and bought more rolls for later!! It was the perfect pitstop between Lorne and The Stables!

Birregurra is a tiny little town packed with hidden gems. It's only a 15-minute drive from the property and home to one of the best gluten-free bakeries in Victoria. We picked up a couple of super tasty, fresh-baked chicken pesto paninis, coffees and a few supplies to test drive the local Penny Royal Berry Farm Jam we picked up on the drive down.

Lake View Cafe At Colac
On our way back to Melbourne we stopped by a cafe in Colac for lunch. We discovered this lovely cafe located by the lake. We enjoyed the incredible view while listening to Sunday live music. Plus, the food was delicious!
Treetops Climb
Treetops Adventure at Yeodene Park was the MOST fun! The team was so supportive and encouraging and such an empowering experience! Highly recommend. Several grades of difficulty and you are harnessed in safety. All my tree climber childhood dreams come true! Please note this activity involves a fee friends.
Colac Botanic Gardens
Walk through different paths that weave through the gardens and admire oak trees and numerous garden beds.
