Thank you very much for taking such good care of us for our two-night, three-day stay✨
The room was very clean, and even our 1-year-old who is crawling around was able to stay comfortably☺️
There were... no dangerous spots inside, and it was a very child-friendly inn.
There were also various shops nearby, which was very convenient.
The atmosphere was wonderful as well, and thanks to you, our whole family was able to relax and enjoy our time together, making it a truly lovely memory🥰
I highly recommend this inn. If we have the opportunity again, I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you so much😊

Castlemaine Victoria, Australia
2Listings
In 2007, when Nicola moved to ‘Castlehouse’ with her family, studio-one was a garage and studio-two a baron hill. Over the following fifteen years she spent oceans of time restoring the dilapidated house, creating the garden from scratch and building studio-two while completing a PhD in fine-art and raising three boys: all labours of love.
The main drive behind her design direction for be&be was to create warm, eclectic spaces, that nurture and restore, while providing a serene home-away-from-home, for people wanting to spend time in this particular neck of the woods.
Studio-three is currently under construction.

Warm and cosy, filled with historical artefacts we sat and enjoyed a a cold beer and a hearty pub feed.
Bike Riding
This trail begins in Castlemaine and runs beside the Victorian Goldfields Tourist Train line to Maldon via Muckleford and is 18km long. The trail is mostly surrounded by open dry forest, with some views of rolling hills and farms.

Theatre Royal
You can't visit Castlemaine and not swing by The Theatre Royal. Australia's oldest and continually operating theatre! Standing tall on the main street we pulled in for coffee and checked out their programme.
