Unique A-frame nestled in the pine trees
Adventure in Daylesford, Goldfields, VIC, AU
After a hectic week, we were ready to reconnect with nature, chill, and rebalance our minds in the mineral springs’ country. With the car packed and music on, we drove through the lush wombat state forest that led us to the Zoli A-frame nestled among pine trees.
As soon as we put our foot inside, we felt like we stepped back in time - Zoli's A-Frame wa filled with 60's and 70’s vibes. We did not wait long before playing a vinyl record and dancing to ABBA. All the rooms were thoughtfully decorated, with vintage, glamorous, and antique touches. We particularly enjoyed the deep, warm bath where we could soak our bodies and soak in the retro aesthetic of the bathroom. We slept so well that night in the luxury linen bedding.
After waking up with the sound of the birds and sipping a cup of hot coffee on the balcony, with views through the pine forest, we were ready to explore the surroundings. We enjoyed a lovely brekkie picnic at Lake Daylesford before heading to Lake Jubilee and Wombat Hill café for a tasty lunch. Finally, after a stroll at the Mill market for retro treasures, we spent the afternoon chilling at the Blackwood Spring Reserve.
After all these adventures, we loved coming back to this welcoming A-Frame, cooking dinner in the stylish kitchen, cuddling in front of the wood fire and toasting marshmallows while stargazing.
We could have spent weeks at the Zoli A-Frame and still experience it in so many different ways: spending the whole time unwinding and connecting with nature in this bushland paradise or exploring all the adventures Daylesford has to offer (and that’s many). We couldn’t recommend this stay enough.

Blackwood Mineral Springs Reserve is a gorgeous place to visit. Sample some soda mineral water, relax by the beautiful Lerderderg river, enjoy a picnic, or hike one of the numerous walking tracks.
We enjoyed a picnic with the ducks at Lake Daylesford. We could have stayed there all day, walking the Lake circuit track, observing the ducks or just enjoying a cold dip.
We headed off to Lake Jubilee for a kayak session. However, kayaks were unavailable that day. We still spent a beautiful time befriending the ducks, peacocks and the fairytale landscape.
This is the ideal place to wander along the stunning green gardens, have a tasty lunch or take some delicious treats for later in the day.
We loved wandering along the aisles of this vintage paradise, playing and finding retro treasures to bring back home.
