Hugging the Otway National Park and perched above the tranquil waters of Wye River, you will be guaranteed the most exhilarating uninterrupted views of the South West Victorian coastline.

This property's open plan and floor to ceiling windows ensures that no space is spared from the jaw dropping views (with the exception of the en-suite bathroom). The Deck House is an experience in itself but you'll also be treated to a combination of natural amenities, romance and above all privacy.

Facing due North offers sun all day and protection from the prevailing winds.

The Deckhouse features a sunken deck, a free standing ocean view bath, and a private walking track to the beach. The glass balustrade and log fire secure The Deck House as a destination for all seasons.

Absolutely magical stay. We were lucky to enjoy three days of perfect winter weather, two glorious sunrises from bed and coffees on the deck. I read an entire book facing that incredible view. We dran...k wine, cooked dinner and generally unwound. There was a remarkable sense of peace being able to see the coastline, ocean and horizon. Star gazing from the deck was also amazing. Little pub nearby was cosy, drove into Lorne for some shopping, checked out the beautiful Erskine Falls. HIGHLY recommend The Deck House.

From the moment we arrived, there was an overwhelming sense of calm. The breathtaking views are unlike anything we’ve experienced, they’re the kind that make you pause, take a deep breath, and simply ...soak it all in. We found ourselves spending hours on the deck with a coffee in hand, listening to the birds, watching the changing light over the ocean, and appreciating just how beautiful and peaceful the surroundings are.

The house is warm, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable, but it’s the connection to nature that makes this place truly special. It gave us the chance to slow down, switch off from the busyness of everyday life, and just be present.

Leaving was genuinely difficult. We’re already looking forward to returning and creating more memories here. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful and special place.

We absolutely loved our stay! The scenery is next level and all the ammenities provided are perfect. We especially loved the welcome from the koala and enjoying the stunning view. We couldn’t recommend the deckhouse more!
