The house was very well equipped, stylish and comfortable. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay - fishing and swimming down at the foreshore park and spotting all the kangaroos in the neighbourhood! The general store had everything we needed too which was a plus. We'll definitely be back.

Morning Calm Paddleboarding On Wallis Lake

The sun was shining as we carried our paddleboard down to Wallis Lake. The water was calm, and the sunlight danced across the surface. We paddled around, exploring the lake and its small inlets, pausing occasionally to take in the view and enjoy the quiet, feeling completely relaxed and lucky to have the lake mostly to ourselves.

A Rainy Morning On The Coomba Park Foreshore

A grey and rainy day didn’t stop us from exploring the Coomba Park foreshore of Wallis Lake, a sprawling coastal lake near Forster. The water stretched out under grey skies, its choppy surface dotted with tiny whitecaps. The Coomba foreshore walk followed the edge of the lake. When the rain got heavy, we looped back, passing a group of kangaroos completely unfazed by the weather. It was a simple, refreshing walk, a quiet moment that made the rainy day feel unexpectedly charming.

Booti Booti National Park

Consisting of an eight-kilometre peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and beautiful Wallis Lake, Booti Booti National Park encompasses 1,566 hectares of picturesque headlands, stunning beaches and pristine rainforests.

Transparent Kayak Hire In Forster

Great Lakes Boat Hire have these magical 'crystal clear' kayaks, with transparent bottoms so that you can see through the bottom. We didn't see a lot of life down there, but we did have a relaxing paddle around the island, an oyster farm and a few little beaches at low tide.

It's the perfect adventure if you've only got an hour or so free!
