Mangorei Heights - Ruru Cabin - No Cleaning Fees

Enjoy the scenic views from Mount Taranaki in your own private cabin.
The cabin has its own balcony with a private stone bath to relax in after exploring the mountain trails or city sights. From the cabin, you have views to the sea, and are only a 700m walk from the start of the Pouakai walking track. You are also only a 15min drive to New Plymouth beaches, restaurants, shops, the coastal walkway, Lake Mangamahoe Mountain Bike Park, and everything else our great little city has to offer.

A brand new cabin with kitchen and bedroom window views to the mountain, as well as a large deck facing breathtaking views over New Plymouth city and out to the ocean. Full kitchen with a fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, and jug, as well as a weber bbq for grilling. Basics such as milk, tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt and pepper, and paper towels are provided. The lounge area has a 32inch TV, Netflix, Disney+ ,and 2 comfy couches.

This is a separate cabin to the main house and Tui Cabin, and guests will have access to the entire unit and the garden. Please supervise children at all times around the pond and note that as this is a new project, a lot of the plants are still to mature and are newly planted. Please also note we do live on the property but your privacy will always be respected.

Our family home is just further down the driveway if we are needed.

We live on a lifestyle block with amazing views of the mountain, city, and sea from the cabin. Nighttime is just as beautiful, watch the sunset and the city come to life and light up before your very eyes.
We have a natural mountain stream surrounded by native bush at the bottom of our property, that we encourage you to walk our hill track down to explore.... just remember you will need to come back up the hill after haha.

We are 15mins drive from New Plymouth's city center, so taxis to and from here are quite costly (approx $100+ from memory, but don't quote us on that). If arranged prior, we may be able to provide pickup and drop-offs for a fee, this can be discussed though. We have parking onsite for guests, that should fit 2 vehicles
