Tiny Three Ten wayyyyy surpassed our expectations! The tiny house is clean, remote, and well facilitated. Firewood, firestarters, anything you would possibly need for a weekend escape provided for. Wo...ke up to a serene view at my door step and said good mornings to the local cows and kangaroos (a baby bat even swung by to say hi!).
As much as I’d love to gatekeep, I can’t recommend Tiny Three Ten enough. Cary, our ever gracious host, made sure we kept cool during a scorching weekend by recommending a refreshing dip in the river nearby. Thank you to Cary and Trudy!

A Perfect Mountain Getaway
Just spent a few days at this cozy cabin retreat, and it was exactly the peaceful escape I needed from the hustle of city life. Nestled in a serene, quiet area with stunning... panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys, it’s the kind of place where you can sit on the deck for hours just taking in the scenery.
The spot is wonderfully quiet — no traffic noise, just birdsong and the occasional rustle of leaves. Everything is well-maintained, the clean interiors and outdoor spaces. It has all the necessary amenities you’d want for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living area, outdoor tub, and plenty of bedding and towels.
It’s truly a great escape from the city, offering that perfect blend of nature and comfort without feeling too remote.
My only minor wish is that there was air conditioning — on warmer days, it relied on fans and open windows, which worked okay but could have been nicer with AC.
Overall, I’d rate it 9 out of 10. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and recharge!

A keen traveller myself, I bought Tiny Three Ten in 2023 to use as a base/ holiday retreat for myself and to share with others while I'm elsewhere.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Ride The Fosterton Loop
An easy 22-kilometre loop ride from Dungog to Fosterton Bridge and return. About 210m of undulating climbing and it includes a great rest spot about halfway on the Williams river at Newells Crossing. This is a fantastic spot for a quick dip on a hot day Includes 3k unsealed road.
Walk Through Dungog Common
Traditionally home to the Gringai people, this is 650 acres of bushland with over 22km of tracks for walking trails (dogs welcome!), mountain bike riding and horse riding, or picnics in the sun!
Moutain Biking Dungog Common
The Dungog Reserve is 650 acres of pristine land on the western edge of Dungog. The Reserve has over 22km of single track.
The Reserve also has a purpose-built fun track and 2.2km of groomed flow track.

Tinshed Brewery
Grab yourself one of their beers and enjoy the beef brisket burger – thank me later.
Strolling Dungog Town
We love this town and its people. Everyone was so welcoming and the strong sense of community is truly alive here. We walked around the town, visiting some local stores including a small Saturday morning market.
Exploring Dungog Town
We loved the self-tour with plaques explaining the history of various old buildings. There’s also an amazing butcher with steak direct from the farm!
