We love to share our alpine home with people who are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy everything the region has to offer. Our home is a north facing, solar passive, eco friendly home with uninterrupted views over the dairy flats to Mount Bogong (Victoria’s highest mountain) and the Great Dividing Range.
Our home is less than 10 minutes to Mount Beauty, 45 minutes to Falls Creek, and 30 minutes to Bright and 45 minutes Myrtleford. It is the perfect place to explore the alpine region, wineries and local artisan food producers.
Wander 30 minutes walk from house/10 minute cycle/2 minute drive and visit the Keiwa river and Ryder's bridge swimming hole. Crystal clear and fabulous for fishing and swimming in the summer. Our region has skiing, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, bushwalking, wineries and breweries all on offer.
The historical Old Tawonga general store is just a minutes walk away and is equipped with coffee, cakes, ice cream, home made sausage rolls and basic supplies. A beautiful park with BBQs and playground is across the road.
The area is located at the foothills of the Alpine National Park, surrounded by mountains, rivers and rolling vineyards.
There is a bike path that runs from the property to Mount Beauty.
