Beautiful little home, exactly as described. We had the most wonderful stay and loved the direct access to the state park in the back yard.

We had an amazing time playing board games and drinking tea. Our hosts were really helpful - when all the firewood was wet and we couldn't get the fire going they called the lovely property manager wh...o helped us start up the fire and the sauna. On the first day we visited Trentham, Redbeard Bakery and Trentham Falls. The second day we saw Glenlyon General Store and had a hot chocolate at Cliffy's and a stroll through Daylesford. Thank you!

My partner and I were in desperate need for an off-grid getaway. Perfectly situated between Trentham and Daylesford, making it the ideal getaway but still be in touch with gorgeous country vic bakerie...s and pubs. Utilising the toasty fire place, board games and sauna, making it a cosy spot in the winter frost. Perfectly tiny for us!

Hampton Ridge is a small raspberry farm located just outside of Trentham, Victoria, recently purchased by Nickle & Georgie Gubbins. Nickle grew up on a cattle farm in the Western District, before moving to Melbourne to work in construction, and Georgie works in marketing for an Australian wine company. However, have both always wanted to own a parcel of land to enjoy with their future family. Georgie & Nickle (and their dog Archie) recently welcomed their son Freddie and look forward to creating memories on the raspberry farm for years to come.

Unwind In The Sauna
The wood-fired sauna was an absolute gem, especially for a rainy weekend! As it overlooked the Wombat State Forest, it offered more than just warmth; it offered a space to lose yourself in. Wrapped in swirling steam, we got to truly relax. The hosts had thought of everything, ensuring our sauna time was both soothing and sensational.
Explore The Hampton Ridge Raspberry Farm
What a treat to be staying at a tiny house right next to the Hampton Ridge Raspberry Farm! Amongst rows of bushes, we sought out those vibrant raspberries, ripe from late December to early February. Our trip came a bit too early for harvest time, but we are now definitely inspired to return soon!
Mountain Biking At Wombat State Forest
Nick geared up for an adrenaline-pumping mountain biking escapade right from the tiny house’s doorstop. The hosts provided a couple of tips that led us to these nearby fire trails. These trails, weaving past the nearby lake and through the enveloping trees, delivered an adventure right at our fingertips.

Trentham Falls
Discover the beautiful and lush Trentham Falls, Victoria's highest single-drop waterfall. The falls were formed some five million years ago by molten lava rapidly cooling as it flowed along the old Coliban River valley.
Trentham waterfall cascades 32 metres onto the quartz gravel below. Located in the Wombat State Forest, this natural wonder is particularly enchanting in winter when every moss covered rock and fern glistens with water. The Trentham Falls Reserve, located on the Great Dividing Range is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic by the river. There are great facilities, including picnic tables, barbecues and toilets nearby.

Trentham Falls
An easy drive leads you to a parking lot with ample spaces to park (even on a weekend). It's a short walk down some stairs to the waterfall lookout. There are two gates blocking the trail merely as a suggestion. The easy trek down to the waterfall can be made in sandals - once down at the bottom of the falls you can scale some rocks to wind up behind the falls. You'll want to bring a camera!
Trentham Village
The township of Trentham has a tidy little strip of bustling stores full of locally made goods, designer stores, cafes, restaraunts and local providors. You can find everything you could possibly need or want to really experience Macedon Ranges + Hepburn Shires seemingly endless assests.
Quarry Street Recreation Reserve
While driving through the town we spotted this reserve and packed a ourselves a picnic to enjoy on the grass. Unfortunately on our return it started raining so we went for a little wander around instead and took in the gorgeous scenery of Autumn’s colours slowly making themselves visible in the trees.
Redbeard Bakery
A Trentham favourite. Handmade sourdough, baked in a historic woodfire oven. We grabbed some to accompany our fresh market jam, as well as some delicious breakfast pies and coffee to start the morning.
