An ultimately AWFUL experience!! 45 emails over 5 days were exchanged regarding fundamental issues with the property. These issues could have been addressed via a pre-guest inspection by ...the owners and the property manager (Getawayz). Improved planning, including a standby list of local resources such as trades and housekeeping, and a slush fund for missing items would have mitigated potential problems during a known peak period.
Subsequently, Communication was poor, Service was lazy, Quality of the home was unhygienic and dysfunctional and, given our valuable time was required to fix all of the issues, Value for money was outrageous @$1100 /night. Given there were no consequences for such a poor experience, we will not be returning or recommending Aarini Cottage or Getawayz to friends, family or colleagues.

Like the title suggests, Aarini is the ultimate beachside escape with a view to match. Minutes to the dog friendly Macmasters Beach, with Macs cafe in the cosy southern corner, with great coffee and f...ood options. If your feeling more adventurous, the National Park lies over the hill with some amazing hiking trails through dense coastal rainforests to secluded beaches and vistas of the raw coastline.

Welcome to Getawayz NSW. My name is James and I am the Managing Director!
Getawayz NSW was created by myself when I worked in the corporate world. There were so many times in my corporate life where I would be sitting at my desk thinking “just get me away”! I had a few investment properties that I had just put on Airbnb and I was being thanked almost every day for helping people with their dream holidays! I created spaces with love and detail. For me, it’s not only about the location but also about the space and the small touches. I thought there must have been a gap in the market for premium accommodation services with professionals that do not have time to share their beautiful homes.
My aim is to provide the most luxurious experiences for all my guests. From the moment they open the door, I want there to be a wow factor! Whether it be a bad day at work, months in lockdown over COVID-19, or anything in between with the struggles that the last 2 years have bought us, Getawayz NSW is a pun on “get me away” - but not just to anywhere, but to one of the best homes in NSW. Once you have stayed at one of my properties, I want the first thing to be is when you return home is wanting to book with Getawayz NSW again!

I (James, the Managing Director) have never been one to feel boxed in or be put in a box - I like to think outside the box! I wanted to create a brand that shows no matter what you are after in NSW, Getawayz will be able to give you a premium offering no matter what the area. Whether it’s beach, bush, or city life - we have the best homes available to offer!

One of the perks of being perched up by the water is the ability to roll out of bed and straight into a kayak on Cockrone Lagoon. Paddle all the way over to the coastline where you’ll have your pick of having a dip at either MacMasters or Copacabana Beach. Don’t miss the rope swing on the way out!

Looking to get your fix of the sun on the skin and saltwater in your hair? Copacabana Beach is only a 10-minute walk down the road and right next to the town centre. So grab your morning coffee and find a spot nice spot on the sand, trust me, you won't want to get up for a while.
