The perfect house for a girls getaway. Gorgeously styled from front to back. Very comfortable for 6 people with plenty of space inside and out.
Conveniently located close to wineries, distilleries, b...rewhouses, etc.
Comfortable beds to lay your head after a great day out.
Would definitely stay again. Perfect! 🍷

This was such a beautiful little cottage for me and my mates! We had such a lovely time and really felt at home - everything that we needed was provided for us and more. The decor and the facilities w...ere lovely and aesthetic, and I personally really enjoyed the outdoor bathtub. This place was also very central to everything we wanted to do in the Hunter, and was only such a short drive away. This was the perfect winter escape and end of semester celebration for me and the gang, and I can't wait to be back here again! I would recommend this place over and over again to any big group seeking a wine country holiday - all year around!

Getawayz NSW was created by myself when I worked in the corporate world. There were so many times in my corporate life where I would be sitting at my desk thinking “just get me away”! I had a few investment properties that I had just put on Airbnb and I was being thanked almost every day for helping people with their dream holidays! I created spaces with love and detail. For me, it’s not only about the location but also about the space and the small touches. I thought there must have been a gap in the market for premium accommodation services with professionals that do not have time to share their beautiful homes.
My aim is to provide the most luxurious experiences for all my guests. From the moment they open the door, I want there to be a wow factor! Whether it be a bad day at work, months in lockdown over COVID-19, or anything in between with the struggles that the last 2 years have bought us, Getawayz NSW is a pun on “get me away” - but not just to anywhere, but to one of the best homes in NSW. Once you have stayed at one of my properties, I want the first thing to be is when you return home is wanting to book with Getawayz NSW again!
Getawayz NSW offers some of the most premium inner-city homes, beautiful country cottages, luxury eco-cabins to grand homesteads as well as some of NSW’s most gorgeous beach homes.
I (James, the Managing Director) have never been one to feel boxed in or be put in a box - I like to think outside the box! I wanted to create a brand that shows no matter what you are after in NSW, Getawayz will be able to give you a premium offering no matter what the area. Whether it’s beach, bush, or city life - we have the best homes available to offer!

Savannah Peterson, the youngest member of the Peterson family involved in winemaking, embodies this spirit perfectly. Her bubbly personality and strong work ethic have created a workplace environment where everyone feels valued and connected. Visiting Savannah Estate was not just about tasting incredible wines; it was about being looked after by a team of experts who love what they do and each other.

Wine Tasting At The Hanging Tree Wines
The Hanging Tree winery is about half an hour drive away from our cottage, and we definitely recommend this spot for the breathtaking sunset. Oh and let’s not forget the wine, the wine was good too!
Kitchener Dam Nature Trail
Wander around Kitchener dam and take in some beautiful scenery. Viewing platforms, boardwalks and cute birdlife are some of the perks on this easy nature walk.
Werakata National Park
Werakata National Park located in the Hunter Valley hums with chirping birds and native wildlife. The serene park offers a range of outdoor activities including; birdwatching, bushwalking and cycling. Sit among the spring wildflowers and enjoy a picnic lunch soaking in the stunning surrounds.
Hunter Valley Chocolate Company
After sipping on bubbly, make your way to the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company for some amazing snacks! The chocolate-covered strawberries were to die for, and chocolate pasta noodles were so unusual and yummy!
Petersons Winery
Let me tell you about the amazing time we had at Petersons Wines in the Hunter Valley! From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of the family. Learning about their history, dating back to 1971 when Colin Peterson and his parents started the winery, added a whole new layer to our wine tasting experience.
The setting at the Mount View cellar door was absolutely stunning! Situated on a hill surrounded by vineyards, we had the most breathtaking views of the landscape while sipping on their delicious wines. And let me tell you, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
Our adventure continued at their Pokolbin cellar door, where the vibe was just as inviting. The staff there were just as passionate about their wines, and we had such a blast chatting with them and sampling their incredible selection. Petersons Wines definitely left a lasting impression on us, and I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for a memorable wine tasting experience in the Hunter Valley!
