A double-sided wood burner at its centre creating an atmosphere encouraging you to slowdown, rejuvenate and reconnect. Curl up on the comfortable lounges with a drink and a book or boardgame. Take in the evening views from the north facing paved terrace accessed through the stunning oversized pivot door. Cook up a storm in the modern, well-equipped kitchen and spend a leisurely evening conversing around the large table on the luxe velvet banquette seating.

The bedroom and bathroom are secluded in what was the old vestry and Sunday school. The large bathroom has a repurposed vanity, luxurious underfloor heating and an oversized shower. Take time to relax and unwind in the deep bathtub after a day of exploration around the local area.

Additional guests can be accommodated on the award winning Eva slideaway double sofa bed in the main living area. *Please note that the bathroom can only be accessed via the main bedroom.

Outside, the ample terrace drops down to a protected fire pit made to enjoy a BBQ and stargazing on those warmer evenings. Alternatively unwind and watch the local birdlife from the alfresco dining area, outdoor lounge or the café table.

A great 100+ year old church with a mix of modern interior and classic period exterior, even down to a classic period key that is reflected in the lead light windows. The internal lighting is great to... experiment with to create the ambience, and the wood-fired heater will keep you “toasty”. Communication from the owner is excellent, detailed and timely. The Vines is in a quiet location but within easy reach of many interesting towns, the Murray River and the Silo Art Trail.
Highly recommended for couples with fur children.

It a beautiful space to share quality time together. The old Church has such a great feel and is beautifully done. We were toasty warm all weekend with the fire 🔥 and our puppy loved it too. S’mores in the fire pit😋 was also such a treat.
