Grand Glamping Getaway
Adventure in Toolamba, Murray River, VIC, AU
Want to enjoy luxury camping in a place with everything you need for fun, adventure ,and relaxation? Look no further than this spacious and glorious Scandinavian inspired safari tent in Toolamba!
During our stay, we enjoyed the comforts of the tent (known as ‘base camp’), including the cosy nook on a cold night, decorated with fairy lights. On the first night, we played some board games in the warmth but then couldn’t help but head outside to marvel at the spectacular display of stars.
In the morning we woke up early to explore and experience everything the property had to offer! First up, a cup of coffee made in the well-equipped kitchen. Then we explored the different walking tracks around the property (guided by the hosts gorgeous, friendly golden retrievers!). We grabbed a couple of the bikes available and cycled around the beautiful surrounds. Then we did some kayaking in the lake and soaked in the serenity.
After all the adventure, I hopped in the exquisite outdoor bath, located on the deck of our tent - relaxation at it’s finest!
At sunset we sat around the campfire by the lake and admired the pink hues in the sky. We utilised the bluetooth sound system and enjoyed some good music while relaxing and talking over the fire. We were then spoiled to a double bath by the lake (yes, another outdoor bathing experience which was incredibly serene!) where we enjoyed a glass of wine.
Once it got dark, we made great use of the on-site movie room, fitted with a large projector screen and recliners! We settled in with some blankets and popcorn and watched some movies before another cosy nights sleep in the tent.
After sadly saying goodbye, we headed into Shepparton where we had a bite to eat at 'The Milkbar', a cute and buzzing cafe. We then stopped by Shepparton Brewery for a cheeky pint. On the way home we also checked out Tahbilk winery where we had a small wine tasting and explored the underground cellar.
Overall, this glamping experience is perfect for couples, larger groups or families. It is the ideal base for a getaway loaded with nature and connection. With endless things to do on the property, you simply won’t want to leave!...
