Step back in time with a stay at our original 60s A-frame amongst the pine trees. When you approach the private driveway, you are instantly transported to a different time and place; a mountain chalet in a European fairytale.

Zoli’s A-frame has been lovingly restored and renovated with high-end fittings and fixtures and a glamorous mid-century aesthetic. Stepping through the original glass barn doors, striking timber beams and rafters of a classic A-frame greet you. The pine panelling and timber features are like a warm hug, snuggle up in front of the wood fire and enjoy the cozy atmosphere styled with retro furniture.

The open plan kitchen is a cook’s delight with new top brand appliances, beautiful marble bench top with sleek custom joinery and finishes. Create a feast or whip up an intimate meal for two with induction cooktop and oven.

Downstairs is a brand-new bathroom, thoughtfully designed to create a retro feel. Soak in the deep tub or relax in the walk-in shower which celebrates the unique architecture. Upstairs are two bedrooms with dramatic angled walls. The primary bedroom features a king sized bed with luxury linen bedding to sink into and a balcony where you can sip your morning coffee amongst the treetops. The flexible second bedroom can be set up as two single beds or a double for another couple.

There is fast Wi-Fi, suitable for a working retreat or streaming your favourite show. Or unplug completely with a book, board game or play some records in front of a warming fire.

Outside are a private orchard and a bush garden to wander through. Set up a picnic and enjoy alfresco dining surrounded by trees, or a small fire in the fire pit and stargaze.

The A-frame is located on a quiet street surrounded by bushland. The bushland setting means you can often spot kangaroos, wombats, a couple of resident kookaburras and lots more bird life around the property. Lake Daylesford is a short walk away and the township a short drive so you can enjoy all the amenities without compromising on privacy and peace.

This is a special place for our family and
most of the items and decor are vintage and sentimental, so we ask that you are respectful and enjoy with care, especially with young children. The A-frame is not child safe (stairs, balcony, sharp edges etc.) So please keep a watchful eye on young ones during your stay.

The A-frame and surrounding garden are the only useable areas, please keep out of sheds and garage areas.

Due to the nature of a classic A-frame, the bedrooms are located up stairs and therefore not recommend for people in wheelchairs or with other access needs.

Please be careful when using the wood heater or fire pit. Never leave the fire unattended and only use wood provided in wood hutch. Always make sure fire is extinguished before leaving property.

Zoli’s A-Frame Daylesford is offered primarily for private and leisure stays. Any commercial activity—including photo shoots, video shoots, brand campaigns, content creation, product styling, etc.—must be disclosed and approved in advance. A commercial use fee of $1,500 per day applies in addition to the standard accommodation rate. Please contact us for additional terms for commercial use.

loved staying here. was so cosy by the fireplace. very good location. secluded but close to town. we enjoyed our walk at lake daylesford and brunch at cliffy’s emporium. highly recommend staying at Zoli’s A-Frame :)

Zoli Home was the perfect two-night, three-day getaway for me and two friends. We spent the weekend relaxing in this cosy, mid-century-inspired home, surrounded by nature and taking in the beauty of t...he area.

Our goal for the weekend was to unwind, reconnect with nature, and work through some creative blocks and this home provided exactly that. It felt like being little girls again in the coolest cubby house, full of charm and character.

The property is exceptionally well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen- we even managed to bake desserts during our stay. The fireplace kept the home warm and cosy, making it the perfect place to curl up and relax.

One of our favourite parts was spending time outdoors. We enjoyed morning yoga on the lawn while listening to the peaceful sounds of Daylesford Lake nearby. Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm is only a short 15-minute drive away and made for a beautiful lunch outing.

Daylesford itself is full of hidden gems, from the charming bookstores along the main street to The Mill Markets and the Farmers Arms Hotel for a great meal.

I would absolutely stay at Zoli Home again. It offers that rare feeling of being completely away, while still feeling right at home. A truly special place to relax, recharge, and reconnect. ♥️ thank you Ella and your family, for this home!

Hello, I’m Ella. Alongside my husband Matt and dedicated family members, we have spent the last year renovating our A-frame in Daylesford, Victoria. Renovating has been a labour of love, being Matt’s Grandfather’s property, there was a lot to retain and treasure as we updated the house. We have kept the renovation and the styling of the A-frame sympathetic to the era in which it was built and we have loved celebrating its mid-century style. When not head down in boards and nails, or elbow deep in paint, we like to get out in nature; camping, bushwalking and exploring new places. We have three small humans and a chocolate Labrador that keep us busy and make us smile.

Perfect spot for a dip on a hot summers day. If its cool you can always walk around the lake and try some spring water from the natural springs.

We knew we had to check out the infamous Lake Daylesford during our trip, so we decided to get up early for a sunrise mission on the lake.

As we parked the car in the Lakes main car park, I noticed a beautiful jetty on the other side of the lake, which I just had to see (for some gorgeous photos). After a quick check on the Lakes Map, we realised it was about a 20-minute walk around to the other side of the lake. The walk itself was breathtaking, as we were accompanied by the constant chirping of birds, ducks quacking, water trickling and the smell of clean and crisp country air.

Once we reached the Jetty we quickly fired off a few must-have photos, but the real highlight was sitting on the end of the jetty in complete silence with my fiancé and watching the sunrise. The perfect start to our day!
