Our Tiny House is set in a private location on top of a hill providing panoramic 360 degree views of the 100's of acres of picturesque hills. We're located in the heart of the Macedon tourist region.
Our unique off-grid Tiny House provides the perfect place to relax, explore, and refresh.
Our Tiny House is furnished with the all of the essentials necessary for a comfortable off-grid getaway. Pillowtop queen bed, luxury bed linen, fully equipped kitchen including fridge and stove, hot shower, composting toilet, bluetooth speaker, BBQ, picnic table & outdoor fire pit for those chilly winter nights. Fire restrictions are now in force, no fires allowed until May 2026.
Our Tiny Houses are off-grid and provide an eco getaway in nature. Our houses are solar powered and rely on rainwater, we ask our guests to be mindful of their power / water usage during their stay. You're booking a unforgettable eco nature getaway, not a 5 star resort. Kangaroo sightings are common as are encounters with other local birds or wildlife - it's all part of the adventure :)

We love love love our stay at Kyneton tiny house! Spending our Christmas days here eating steak and being surrounded by nature and wildlife are so close to heart! Enjoying our morning coffee at the pi...cnic table whilst blindly staring at the landscape is also one of the highlights of the stay. We highly recommend this for relaxing and unwinding experience. We left being so refreshed and set for the new year! Thank you!

Adventures Nearby
Here are some details about the adventures nearby. Refer to the map for their location.
Turpins Falls
A bit off the beaten track, Turpins Falls is a 40-minute drive from Maldon. A popular swimming hole in summer, the falls are a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the tranquil surrounds. If the weather is nice bring a picnic and spend the day exploring the waterfalls.
Metcalf Cascades
The Metcalf Cascades provide a stunning impression of water and rock and sit as a small hidden jewel in the local countryside.
Scenic Hike To The Monolith
We drove North towards the Black Hill Reserve, 260 acres of rare bushland and incredible rock formations. From the car park, there are three easy tracks that you can follow but we chose the apparently more scenic one Ridge Track. You might come across some steep sections when heading to the top but it is a very easy track and can be completed in about one hour and 30 mins. Stop to spot birds, wallabies, wombats, and some interesting rock formations. Explore a bit off track to find some beautiful views of the area.
Gluten Free Fare In A Cosy Country Pub
A fantastic, cosy pub for those who crave comfort and also gluten free options! The staff were lovely, food exceptional, and delicious wine. Perfect to have a hearty meal while watching the rain come down outside!
Nature Stroll In The Botanic Gardens
On our route back to Melbourne, we stopped by the Kyneton Botanic Gardens for a leisurely stroll along the river with the many birds, crickets and dogs. If you have little ones that need to get their monkey energy out, there's a lovely playground and massive field to run around on. It was hard to come home to the city after such a restful stay in the country.
Castlemaine Coffee Roasteryq
For all coffee enthusiasts - you can't miss this local roaster. Run by a passionate and thorough local, you will experience delicious coffee and tasty treats at FireBean Coffee!
