We had an awesome stay at theYellowBoxWood! The accomodation was beautiful inside, and the second bed nook was such a fun place for my toddler. We had plenty of space exploring the outdoor areas and h...ad lots of fun in the games room next to our safari tent. Once we got the fire going inside, we were all so warm and cosy for the night, we didn’t want to move from the couch!
Highly recommend for a couple/ family stay. We will be back!

Fantastic return visit with friends to YellowBoxWood glamping tents. Fantastic experience and accomodation, even in winter the in tent fire place and back up split system (powered by solar and battery) makes the nights cosy. Excellent hosts and clean with a comfy bed.

Beautiful experience in a beautiful bit of the world. If you want a place to get away from it all, off the grid but with everything you need then this is the place. We explored some great wineries, hi...king in the national park and the property we stayed in. Andee and Lisa were great hosts - there when you need but leaving you to your own devices otherwise.

Swimming In The Pool Down The Hill
It was winter during my visit, so it was. a 30 seconds cold plunge for me and I was happy with my efforts to be in for that long! ha! This space would be deluxe during the warmer months and I do plan to come back and visit. A short walk down the hill from your hideaway stay.

Cycling In The Heathcote Graytown National Park
We are located adjacent to the Heathcote-Graytown National Park in which you will find hundreds of kms of walking and bike tracks. These are mainly gravel but graded tracks and are suitable for most bikes - ride out of the front gate and cycle off-road all day.
Bushwalking
This National Park is a great place for bushwalks. Mt Ida, Mt Black and Viewing Rock provide views of Heathcote and surrounding areas. The park also has a rich history with relics from the gold rush and war era to discover at Graytown. Melvilles Lookout is a prominent ridge where Captain Melville reputably waited in ambush for miners during the gold rush.
Vinea Marson Winery
Delicious antipasto platters and splendid wine with views of the vineyards, what more could you want?
Mt Ida Lookout
Hike up to the top via Mount Ida Rd/Lookout Road loop or drive up for a short steep walk to the lookout where you can admire views of Heathcote and Lake Eppalock.
Mt Ida Lookout
Enjoy a short walk with beautiful views over Heathcote. We went during sunrise and the sun rose behind us through the trees. I'd expect it is even more special at sunset.
Viewing Rock Lookout
Complete the Viewing Rock circuit walk and admire the views of Heathcote and surrounding areas from the rock. Also a great spot for a picnic.
